Gen. David Petraeus described the security situation in Iraq as improved since he last testified before Congress in September, but still fragile and reversible. The Iraq war commander told a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing that he recommends a 45-day "period of consolidation and evaluation" in July before deciding when to resume troop reductions. Sen. John McCain and Sen. Hillary Clinton are expected to use the morning committee hearing to showcase their opposing views on the war. Sen. Barack Obama will get his chance later this afternoon as a member of the Foreign Relations Committee. For more information, see: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120766151867797881.html?mod=djemalertNEWS
